How to Get Heavy Core Minecraft | Heavy core — Minecraft Bedrock
How to Guarantee Heavy Core?
Heavy Cores are a valuable item in Minecraft, used to craft the powerful Mace weapon. Kill a Pillager Captain (found in Pillager Outposts, Patrols, and Woodland Mansions).
Here’s how to get them:
1. Start an Ominous Trial:
- Find an Ominous Bottle: Kill a Pillager Captain (found in Pillager Outposts, Patrols, and Woodland Mansions). They have a chance to drop an Ominous Bottle.
- Locate a Trial Chamber: These are underground structures found between Y levels -20 and -40. You can find them by exploring or by buying a Trial Chamber map from a Cartographer villager.
- Drink the Ominous Bottle: Once inside the Trial Chamber, drink the Ominous Bottle to initiate the Ominous Trial. This will trigger waves of powerful enemies.
2. Defeat the Ominous Spawners:
- Fight off waves of mobs: The Trial Chamber will spawn waves of increasingly difficult enemies. Defeat them to progress.
- Obtain the Ominous Vault Key: After defeating enough waves, an Ominous Vault Key will drop.
3. Open the Ominous Vault:
- Find the Ominous Vault: The Ominous Vault is a small structure within the Trial Chamber.
- Insert the Key: Use the Ominous Vault Key on the vault to open it.
4. Claim your loot (hopefully a Heavy Core!):
- Check the Vault’s contents: The vault contains a random selection of valuable loot.
- Heavy Core drop chance: There’s a 7.5% chance for a Heavy Core to be among the loot.
Tips for increasing your chances:
- Repeat Ominous Trials: Since the Heavy Core drop rate is low, you’ll likely need to complete multiple trials.
- Look for visual cues: Some players report seeing the Heavy Core inside the vault before opening it. Try observing the vault from different angles before inserting the key.
Important Notes:
- Heavy Cores were introduced in Minecraft 1.21. Make sure you’re playing on a version that includes this update.
- Ominous Trials can be quite challenging. Make sure you’re well-equipped with strong armor and weapons before attempting one.
