Activate or Register Petro-Points card

To activate your Petro-Points card, Visit the Petro-Canada website: Petro-Canada Sign Up. If you already have an account, log in with your email and password.

There are two main ways to activate or register your Petro-Points card:

1. Online/In-app:

• Register online: Go to petro-points.ca/join [invalid URL removed] to create your account.
• Activate online: If you already have a physical card, go to petro-points.ca/activate [invalid URL removed] to activate it.
• Use the Petro-Canada app: Download the Petro-Canada app and follow the instructions to register or activate your card. You can access your Petro-Points card within the app once your email is verified.

2. In-store:

• Visit a Petro-Canada location: Pick up a card at any Petro-Canada location and speak with a Guest Service Attendant to get your card. Note that you’ll still need to activate the card online or via the app afterwards.

Important Notes:

• You need to be a resident of Canada and over the age of sixteen to sign up for Petro-Points.
• An email address is required to verify your account and complete the registration process.
• Points earned with a non-activated card will accumulate but will not be credited to your account until you activate the card online or in the app.
• Once activated, your Petro-Points never expire (unless there’s a long period of inactivity as outlined in the program’s terms and conditions).
